It’s called QuickChart. This allows me to focus more on you and less on typing.

Using AI-powered medical transcription and report generation tools like QuickChart alongside patients is permissible under the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO), provided physicians obtain explicit patient consent and ensure the tools meet Ontario’s stringent privacy and security standards.

QuickChart is specifically designed for PHIPA Compliance (Personal Health Information Protection Act).

The recording is processed in Canada on AWS Canada infrastructure and encrypted in transit and at rest at every step.

Access is tightly controlled. The support team is not given routine access to your clinical content such as transcripts, notes, audio, documents, or images. Access is role-based, authenticated, and recorded in audit logs.

Your personal information/ personal health information are never sold or shared. They are bound by confidentiality, no-training, and limited-retention commitments.

Your clinical content is never used to train AI models.

Audio is used only to create your transcript and is not stored or retained after transcription is complete.

Your data by default are retained for 30 days, then deleted. When data is deleted, it may remain in encrypted backups for a short period (currently up to 7 days) before routine backup expiry.
I review and sign every note before it goes in your chart. You can ask me to turn it off at any point, today or at any future visit, and that won’t affect your care.
